“Whom have I in heaven but Thee and there is none upon the earth that I desire besides Thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: But God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever” Psalm 73:25-26
There are times in our lives when circumstances can so overwhelm us that we are beyond just ‘saying’ prayers. We need the intervention of God so much more deeply. The expression of our heart before God is deep and visceral. We need Him. We need Him to act on our behalf, or to act on behalf upon of those we are deeply concerned for. At times like these, God the Holy Spirit may bring to our mind a verse from Scripture to help us express our heart before Him. I recall one time I believe the Lord expressed to me to never be ashamed when tears flow as I pray in my extremity.
